This kit converts old generation 4 pin motors on wireless bed base control boxes and includes a new wireless remote to control your bed base witj backlit lighting and flashlight. Used to replace a lost or broken remote when there are no more replacements available or in budget or to upgrade a basic remote with only a few buttons. This Kit will not operate presets like a one touch flat or zero gravity button or a foot motor (+$20 if you have the Ergo plus model that already includes ahead and a foot motor and you needed an extra small cable). We sell a kit for $249 that would include those deluxe features.

This kit includes all the wiring and ports needed to make your conversion. Simply unplug your two motors from the existing control box under your bed and plug them into our new unit. 

Total installation should take no more than 5 minutes but it does require tipping the bed on its side or sliding under the bed to secure the new unit once plugged in.

And finally, it’s important to note that one control box is required per bed. If you have a split king which is essentially two bases pushed up side-by-side, you would need two of these kits if you no longer have any working remote.

1) Wireless 8 Button (only the head and foot buttons on the flashlight buttons will work on this unit… If you want access to custom presets and one touch flat buttons, we sell a kit for $249. Reach out to us for information.) Remote Control with flashlight and backlighting- Simply plug in the kit after it’s installed and the remote will work. Each remote uses three AAA batteries (included since we program this prior to shipping.). You can only have one remote paired with one box at a time. If you want to buy a 2nd remote to use as a backup, we sell them for $70 each.

2) Zip Tie Cables to secure the new boxes under the bed

We recommend buying a Surge Protector before install if you don’t already have your bed plugged in. This can be a power strip or single box, but its important to make sure the words "Surge Protector" or some variant are on the unit. Usually you can buy both at walmart but the power strip without surge protection is a dollar or two less.
