Make sure all your buttons snd control box (2nd pic) are the same before ordering! As a 2023 the black remotes have been discontinued so you will receive the gray remote which runs on AAA batteries. Most of the new gen Reverie bases with this Remote shipped with a thinner, black box that plugs into an AC/DC adapter. (see the picture of the control box shown above to match and verify ) 

If you had the thicker old gen black box that does not have an AC/DC adapter on the cord, but instead has a thick cord that plugs directly into the wall, You will need either one of the original black remote or to update the control box and you can reach out to us.
