As of 2018, the manufacturer has discontinued the old remote and this listing is for the 2 piece conversion kit (Control box and new remote). You will be required to unplug four cords from the old control box wnd your power cord and plug them into this new kit. This original remote had a rigid sides for the nuflex or a button on the top edge for the Softide. All 3 have been replaced by this kit and functions wil be the same. If your bed had four massage motors, you can leave two unplugged (most do) or splice them together for maximum functionality. If your old bed had lumbar motors and you want to have those active, we do offer an upgraded kit for double the cost. One other neat thing about converting is you can now have two remotes paired with one control box. If you have a queen bed, now you can have one remote per nightstand for only $119 more! Reach us if interested 

And finally, it’s important to note that one control box is required per bed. If you have a split king which is essentially two bases pushed up side-by-side, you would need two of these kits if you no longer have any working remote.
