This is a replacement conversion kit for the now discontinued Serta Essentials 1 or Ergomotion E4 2100 series Remote. See our other listings for other model Ergo Remotes. The new remote will be wireless. This will not work with other models. As of 2018, the original remotes have been discontinued and are now replaced with this 2 piece kit (Control box/power cord and new white remote). You will have to unplug two cords from your old control box and plug them into the new one we provide. Then, using your old power box you can plug this new unit in. We will already pair the new remote. For $70 more can purchase a 2nd remote as a back up, but only one can be programmed at a time with this kit. We do sell another kit for an upgrade that would allow two programmed remotes to operate simultaneously as well as give you customized memory buttons, and one flat button. Let us know if you want to upgrade.
If your old Bed had massage and you wanted that feature to convert as well, you can upgrade this unit for $50. Reach out to us for a custom link.
If your previous remote didn’t look like the one shown then this may not be compatible and there may be cheaper replacements available. Contact us if you have questions prior to ordering to ensure compatibility. We include directions for easy syncing and ship the same or next day! Most orders arrive to your home within 5-6 days unless you choose 3-4 Day Priority or 2 day or overnight express shipping at checkout.
And finally, it’s important to note that one control box is required per bed. If you have a split king which is essentially two bases pushed up side-by-side, you would need two of these kits if you no longer have any working remote.
