This will not work with the motion essentials 1, 3 (III) and 4 (IV), iSeries, Motion Perfect, or Motion Custom Bases-The remote is not included but shown to help identify the right version. If your older remote model did not match these pictures to set may not work. 

The manufacturer strongly recommends plugging your power supply into a surge protector for all models, but especially this one as it prevent a fuse from being tripped inside the box that cannot be reset.
