Unfortunately this base was discontinued by the maker a few years back and the only replacements the manufacturer is offering available new would require switching the processing unit under the bed and the total would be $850 per base and take hours of your time to swap out the control box and motors and reprogram a new remote. So, our technicians have designed this new universal conversion kit that provides a quick and easy switch for a fraction of the price. This involves three easy steps and just a pair of scissors or a wire stripper (the one we bought was $6 on Amazon and made things even easier): Step one; tip the bed on its side. Step two; cut your two head and foot motor wires and strip the top portion of each of the four wires (up and down cord for each motor). Step three; simply slide the wires into our harness (a clip drops down and secures everything into place!)

And finally, it’s important to note that one control box is required per bed. If you have a split king which is essentially two bases pushed up side-by-side, you would need two of these kits if you no longer have any working remote.
